On the night of Monday 10th November, 2008 President Ian attended the Taita College Senior Prizegiving. Stokes Valley Rotary have donated two awards to Taita College, each year these are awarded to students during this event.
The winner of the Stokes Valley Rotary Award for Service to the Community and School was Morehu Rei pictured below.
The recipient of the Stokes Valley Rotary Dux Cup was Steven Warner shown with Mayor David Ogden who presented the cup during the evening.
It was a great evening seeing the breadth of awards ranging from academic through service to sporting awards being given to the students. The rest of the photos can be viewed here.
