On Tuesday 17th June 2008 a number of cheques were presented to various community related groups in and around Stokes Valley. Guests from Plunket, Te Omanga Hospice, Hutt City Council and NZ Police were in attendance receiving funds from both the Rotary Club of Stokes Valley and the Stokes Valley Community Trust.
