2008 HAWKES BAY SAUVIGNON BLANC

Full of capsicum, gooseberry, with a hint of melon. One would believe this wine has had silicon implants. The palate is full, rounded with no flat spots. There is a hint of sweetness – it is typically varietal and a delight on the palate.

2007 BERGMAN CHARDONNAY

The Ingrid Bergman rose has a very deep red colour and will flower all summer. Equally the Bergman Chardonnay will blossom for quite some time. Peaches and melon compliment the malolactic tones. There is a richness and elegance and like the rose it is a delight to behold, but without the thorns.
